I have a 2014 ESD cab and the M25 is on the right (when facing the front of the cab) so it looks (and sounds to me) like they are mic'ing the M25 speaker in the video - which the stock Fractal IR's don't include. York's specifically have captures for a vintage 57, a modern 57, a vintage 421, and a modern 421, a VERY nice addition. I can also send R to FOH from the FR XLR out. York Audio and Ownhammer make some stellar IRs, I would say York is slightly better and for almost any plug-in I use the York OS Mesa 412 as a go to. I would say it has a very dominant midrange (even by normal 412 V30 standards) and has a much more open feel than say the Mesa 412 V30 which is very focused. The free IR that frighbox recording is giving is killer, and newly, the Zilla Fatboy IRs from Glen Fricker (spectre sound studios) are amazing in my opinion. I noticed all cabs are well behaved in the 2-3 kHz area, where i normally hear something screaming, and that's a relief. It was my first time plugging into a real 1960 Bassman and i shot the IR before learning the speakers. With the Basketweave SIC and low frequency set at 115 it sounds absolutely massive with the Dirty Shirley and Cornfed models. In this video, I'm sharing some of my favorite IRs from @yorkaudio5444 that pair perfectly with the @UniversalAudio Ruby '63.
