I began collecting the models prior to release of Book V: Tempest, so the list reflects a rather generic Legiones Astartes army. I'm new to the 40k game and I was looking for some advice on building an army list. My friend and I played 2500 points once, and this thing absolutely fucked up my Roboute-led Ultramarine army I wound up barely winning on points, it was a favorable scenario (If it had been a scenario with only 3 objectives instead of 6, I think that he wins), but that thing sat in the middle of the map and deleted everything it pointed at, every single turn. Was hoping for some advice and to see if I should switch 1 Ballistus and Scout squad for a Redemptor for added melee. Last time I played the game, Goblin Green was still a thing. However I am at a loss when looking where to start. Just remember that he is painfully slow tho! edit: formatting Sweet, this has been one of my key paint recipes since fifth edition, obviously there have been slight changes with the range but its always served well, I've seen people recently doing a highlight before calgar blue which I dont get, its better in my mind to just do a thin pass and a finer, opaque-er pass, with this you can highlight tron style for pass one (every edge) and only prominent or Posted by u/MarkUltramar - 4 votes and 16 comments The Ultramarines community on Reddit. Still have to put the Firstborn on bigger bases and paint a couple minis. Looks fun enough :) I believe the Company Heroes got an early retirement. I like the new Primaris guys (although I hope the model line expands soon to give us trivial little things like Heavy Weapons and Melee weapons) and want to build my list around them. Nice! I havent even seen Primaris in play yet, i guess Space Marines players in my area have been slow to adopt. What is my 2,000 point ultramarine list missing? This is all i have built, planning on starting with some 750p games. Any input would be appreciated. For some reason I gravitated to Ultramarines when I started reading through the codex and I became determined to play them. You'll only have 9 in a 2000 point game, which is very low, especially if you're considering using 3 of them on the Chapter Master stratagem.
